Nineteen years ago, after the courageous men and women of this great nation resisted the protracted reign of the men in khaki and earned the highly cherished Democratic system of government for all, it is sad to note, that the people of Oyo State are yet to fully and genuinely enjoy the dividends of Democracy.

In fact, due to bad governance Oyo State has been plagued with huge state fiscal irresponsibility, massive looting of public funds, privatization of government properties into personal use, poor housing, lack of portable water and erratic electricity supply, but to mention few.
