It is common knowledge that Oyo state is an agrarian State. The total neglect of agriculture by the successive governments in the state has made it difficult for the state to tap into the economic benefits that agro allied products as well as cash crops like cocoa that our heroes like Chief Obafemi Awolowo among others used to build Cocoa house etc.
If the sector can be revived, youths employment can be boosted by certain percentage due to massive participation in agriculture.
