Engineer Seyi Makinde has been speaking on why he joined politics. Having been a successful businessman over the years with a track-record of excellence in human and capital development, many people have been asking why a young, brilliant and successful entrepreneur will dabble into the mucky waters of politics.

​Makinde in his charismatic manner has revealed that he is in politics for service to his state. He admitted that politics may be dirty at times but says the dirtiness or cleanliness of politics depends largely on the players.

​The International Management expert says if politicians play by the rule and make service to the people of Oyo state priority, there won’t be crisis and political thuggery as being experienced in the past in Oyo state.

However, he gives brief insights into specific areas of governance he will be focusing on if elected governor of Oyo state.
